Now that the organizers have changed their protocols in choosing the next Miss Universe, the whole world is now on its way to have each fingertip a stepping stone to crowning the heir.

Happening on the 30th of January, half a billion people will be tuned in--whether on live telecast or watching it personally at the SM MOA ARENA. This year will be immensely prestigious for the Philippines and the rest of the world. Of course, in honor of the women in different cultures and spaces, this will mark a culture and a long-lived tradition since 1952.

How can you take part in this once-a-year audience share? In this photo below, you'll see steps to have a daily voice to whom the next heir will be.

Voting for your candidate

Download the Miss U app from the appstore or Google Playstore and sign in with your facebook account.

You are only allowed to cast 10 votes daily
to all the candidates you are rooting for, or perhaps to only one candidate you want to win.

Here: You will be casting a total of 70 votes until the poll precincts close by the 30th (that's just solely coming from this app).

Make sure you click that tiny box below to finalize all the results.

World Aids Day 2016

World AIDS Day.

Jokes are half meant. Neither a label appropriate for 'prevention is better than cure' nor 'practice safe sex'. These are all real tearjerker lines the moment you have IT.

Advocacies are deeply embedded and are principles fought not just by a single soul but by the darling of media presses. It has been truly alarming these years with exponential rises each year.

I am not writing this as a scapegoat for blaming media, government and its cronies. Capitalism isn't even. I want to inspire people how beautiful life is if you live with discipline and monogamy; after all, our lives aren't just measured with cat tales.

The Real Pain

The moment you wake up at 4AM with an excruciating pelvic epicenter? You call that a farfetched joke. It's a reality and a curse for promiscuity. The limits have been bypassed and now, all you have to do is cry to your hearts desire, go to the bathroom and try unlocking your underwear with yellowish sauce in it.

Living with an STD was never a joke and will never be especially for people who love you the most. It pains you to see people crying out for help, but it's harsher to be in their actual shoes.

Fluids become less of a necessity. Peeing is painful and unbearable. Pain tolerance differs but relatively, i count the days and bite my lips so hard. Life wasn't this hard. Life wouldn't be so hard if I didn't dive lowly at a cheap price tag of pleasure.

Clinical visits

Weekly urinalysis became a full fledged reason for me in making the clinic my second home. I brought with me notebooks and pens to read while forgetting everything outside and inside. All i ever hoped for was to end all of this.

The medications didn't work and weekly tests proved futile since the tests only showed how resistive the bacteria were. It was the last card of the doctor who specialized in infectious diseases. It was her last resort that no amount of her masters degree in Switzerland can regain new solutions and back-up plans.

Both of us were furious. I was standing next to the cliff and she was down to her last page of medications that if these didn't work, then I'd be the newest guinea pig of a famous hospital specializing in infectious diseases.

I had sleepless nights thinking what the future brings or whether it be a sweet imminent death to end all the pain. She resorted to an injectable which was a strong antibiotic. It felt like my ass was cut in two. Unbearably painful that i even called my mothers name.

Jesus Christ had a way to whack my head with morals and prayers. I have had active thoughts that this doctor was the middleman in between the living and the dead. All she ever gave me were morbid predicaments and not an ounce of optimism. She was skeptical in everything. I had prolonged depressions which led me to lose weight unexpectedly. It was a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.

The smell of that clinic became a normal parfum in my clothes everyday. I lived and breathed life like it was the last. I gave up on being sad or being temperamental. I let God take over my life; everything was falling apart literally. My thoughts were skewed. I see the spectra of light everywhere I go as if my soul is unscrewing it's hold over my earthly body.

I should've listened to my Microbiology professor on how she lectured us about STD: it's preventive measures. Her lecture became a laboratory class too having live bacteria in me, eating up every single hopeful molecule in me. I couldn't help but cry at the thought of being more extra careful if only scientists fast tracked a cheaply maneuvered time machine.

Moving forward, about 2 or 3 weeks, it finally became a light in a tunnel. The painful erections no longer manifested fervently. No more yellowish fluids. It was a one-in-a-billion chance.

It was both our last chance to redeem ourselves and it worked.

As we celebrate World Aids Day, i would like to inspire the rest of the world that there's still hope amidst all the dirty whispers in our head. The situation calls for it but it's never required to let them in. It's never mandated to accomodate those death wishes.

Our living GOD breathes life to each and everyone of his children. Why should we believe the lies of the enemy? Never again. Never believe those lies.

This day marks a solid ground for advocacies to stop the spread of HIV, STDs to people around us. This marks a celebration to those who have died hopeful for a better life and a compelling motivation to PRACTICE SAFE SEX and to spread the message of love that Jesus Christ and his love remains forever.

We are forever loved by the father in both good times and bad times.

Cheers to the kindest souls in behind the curtains of medicine to find a cure to this. If only we can turn back time, there will be no WORLD Aids Day.

Cholera had its own pinnacle of pain and I remain humbly hopeful that a cure will find its way to the real world soon.

But as of the moment, stay vigilant of safe sex practices and be in a monogamous relationship.

Why should Pokemon Go travelers navigate Fuente Circle?

If you are new to Cebu, you will not have a hard time hunting for pokemon. Let's say, you have lost track of the number of incenses you've used in the past few days nor the lure modules you've successfully activated while staying in coffee shops.

When you are in Fuente Circle, you will be in a haven of common pokemon and pokemon stops. On-lookers for more pokemon balls, hyper pots and revive, the number of pokemon stops in fuente is enough to hit the sack.

  • You can battle pokemons at the Crown Regency Hotel to seek experience. When you win battles, you get Poke coins. When you get poke coins, you get to purchase cool merchandise by visiting the shop.
  • You can rest at the Fuente Circle and harvest the lured pokemon. Random people use their lure modules at these areas trust me.
  • When you are hungry, there are plenty of food shops that you can go to. These centers have other players dining in and out before going back to hunt the rare pokemon. Robinson's Cybergate was an exact spot where are a Blastoise was spotted once.
  • The queue of pokestops reaching Capitol area provides you enough shade and security while collecting items from pokemon stops. The stretch gives you enough kilometers to hatch those 2km eggs you have.
  • Ramos Street has great pokemons as well.
  • Use your Pokemon GO Radar and you'll definitely see pokemons reported by other players so might as well be ready for any action.

Places to travel for POKEMON GO Philippines.

When you are in the Philippines, you need to know the locations where you can have a hotspot of rare pokemon. These locations have a lair where the game itself pinpoints as spawning points of various pokemon.

When you say spawning points, the pokemon literally appears over and over again in that location. Common knowledge exempts Spearow, Pidgey, Rattata as all around pokemon. The rest with greater lower spawn rate, players can surely pinpoint where they are.

These spots may be for Dratinis, Dragonites, Kabuto, Growlithe, Jynx, Fearow, Pikachu, Snorlax, Charizard, Blastoise and even Gyarados itself. Though it is by observation that legendary pokemon are left in the freezer yet by the developers themselves, but definitely it's a must-watch event in the nearest future.

There maybe luring stations where nearby pokemon aren't the ones lured in, the rare pokemon deals get fixed codes on the spot. I remember Dratinis spawning perfectly near TOLEDO CITY, CEBU. Another update seeing Arcanine near PIER 1, Cebu City.

Honest-to-goodness, it was a first time to spot a Dratini since July 7, 2016 where it all began. It rained so hard the other day that I had no choice but to let my spirit cross the bridge and catch the first (hopefully more to come).

With experience, the game encourages players to walk and travel cross the land. Each level is an age of exploration to work well with co-players, search far and wide for pokemon with higher CP, browse the web for more FAQs, download locator apps for spawns and many more.

This list goes a long way hence this will be updated every now and then:

1. Fuente Circle and Jones Avenue.

I choose these places because of the population density of most PoGo players. That's right. There are tons of PokeStops with Gyms around thy neighborhood.

Robinson's Malls are great places and so as staying at 4PM in the actual Fuente Circle. Just wait for the right players with free lure modules that you can use.

2. Ayala Center Cebu and SM City Cebu.

Another perfect spot with hybrid mall-goers slash PoGo players. It is by far public domain.

3. In between Pinamungajan and Toledo City

I had spotted two rare pokemons: Exeggutor and Alakazam along certain greeneries. I have previously read sources hitting some information on spawn points of such pokemons.

4. Pier 1 near Plaza Independencia

This is a public park which features the famous Fort Bonifacio and the post office. Don't come here at 12 noon but reserve it during the afternoon. There are many pokemons which you can capture here and have relatively lower probabilities to spawn anywhere else in the city.

5. Tamiya in Lapu2x

Tamiya is a modern zone incubating shops, party clubs and other hangout places.

A hidden paradise in Cebu

Finding a weekend getaway is more tedious and time-consuming. Staying in a city with a hodgepodge of hotels, resorts, restaurants, museums and other worthy locations is a traveler's dilemma.
Before forgetting, the city is always magnet for urban dwellers but have been a pain in the ass for its untidy surroundings and uncool physique.
As a resident, jumping off to Talisay City and tracking social media posts and selfies, i am fascinated by Hazienda Milan. Alta Vista is nearer but trying to open a new travel menu is another wonderful experience. (I've been to Alta Vista personally for another school documentation)

You may have been to Villa Teresita or Aqua Cainta; likay likay beach and many others---Talisay remains loud and proud of its local businessmen wanting to make natural investments in the form of Resorts and subdivisions. This isn't a one day creation plotted versus a consistency that Talisay City kept up with.

It is basically a clubhouse for Hazienda Milan owned by the Villars. House owners get free entrance whilst outsiders pay 230 pesos per person. There's another clubhouse for Camella Homes but has deteriorated aesthetically throughout the years.

Business requires beautiful maintenance charges which the latter failed to comply. The vastness of time led to deterioration and rust; what was once lovely became a tadpole's haven.
Exclusivity and a fresher level of air can be felt in this place. It is above sea level for sure and is farther from JETTI Gasoline Station. It is a private pool and shade. As simple as you see in photos. A short drive is what it all takes.

Expense-wise, i paid a total of 560.00 which includes entrance to Hacienda Milan Guard house of 30 pesos per person and another 100 pesos if you're using a car. Upon entry to the clubhouse itself, it will be another 200 pesos per person. Expensive for first timers but checking the brighter side of this trip, the distance can be a relief
Distance can make the heart go fonder; fonder in the naive sense of starting back to zero. Going to the basics of why we ever have to go to

Most of those taking a dip were actual homeowners of Hacienda Milan. It proved how advantageous it was for them to roll over anytime they want to. As a cebu city boy, traveling this far and paying a total of 280 per person can be halfway disappointing. On another side of the silver coin, it can still be worth the drive and dip.

El Nido by Night

El Nido at night is at the tip of the iceberg compared to the crowd in Boracay. Here are some galleries that you can check for yourself.

The photo above caught my attention, actually. Just like how Miagao, Iloilo (I have a separate post about Iloilo by the way) maintains its native beliefs and cultures and religiously observes the ordinance to close ALL its stores at 6PM, the same goes to El Nido. Most of the convenience stores close early like one crepe shop near our inn by which we had it originally marked to have a taste of their desserts. Most shops close around 10:00 PM or 10:30.

Sadly, we were craving for Magnum (Day 2) Ice Cream and this zone was a NESTLE-advocate (I have an actual post with nestle products). We ransacked every single open store and went as far as the church to take a peek. Too bad, we just pacified our sugar rush and went for a couple of beers around Pukka Bar.

The picture above was at Big Mama's and the prices ranged from 150 to 200 pesos per meal. It's way above the borderline of 60 to 80 pesos per meal in normal areas. I assure you albeit that the meals are cooked well and are deliciously prepared amidst occasional showers (it was June) which urged us to go back inside. With this in mind, traveling to El Nido would have been better around April or May.

Going back to Pukka Bar which I've almost forgot to mention, we saw celebrities like Andrew Wolf alongside his two other buddies.

The first day at Pukka bar was not too crowded compared to the second night when we checked the place out. The lights and the upbeat music attracted more people to draw near the place. There are also a couple of bars near the beach but not as artsy as Pukka Bar.

I loved the low-lying tables near the beach and the dancing folks who wanted to have a good time in El Nido. It gives me this impression to how tourists enjoy dancing near the beach with upbeat music at the background.
If you want to dance with reggae genre beats, this place is a good haven for you.

Before ending this, thank you for reading my post.

Please don't forget to share this post to your friends who want to have on overview of what's in store for them and the amazing night life in El Nido, Palawan.

PS: Welcome to the Philippines.

Don't forget to share once again and put in your comments.

Maldives of the Philippines: El Nido, Palawan.

This island is also known as Dilumacad Island which stands beautifully in Bacuit Bay. The last pit stop before going back to reality; A winning toast for Package C.

Why is it a winning toast? See the gallery below.
As people named it Helicopter Island, there seem to be requisite propellers which are missing until now. Nonetheless, if you have barely 24 hours to live, you might want to spend it here with the gentle waters reminding you of this spanish line: La vida es bella.

The mystery covering this island is said to be mystical with nature goddesses sprinkling the island with calm waters and gentle sea breezes.

Travelers have oftentimes misjudged photos and eventually took in group photos with overcrowded destinations. This serene haven is not overcrowded and the number of words I have aren't enough to paint this entire travel. Backpackers alike seem to stay longer--meditate, pray and take a deep breath before fighting the next rounds in the real world (Yes, this sucks a big time).

As you can read in my previous posts, I have a listing of things you need to bring. One of these is the DOME PRO which gives you two perspectives in one shot: the air and the water. Two basic elements which can add beauty and charisma. The underworld with flourishing flora and fauna and the white painted skies. It truly is beautiful.

It's never the destination that matters; it's the journey itself. Having fun photos while you are seated can be one great way to kill boredom and to sneeze out the cold sea breeze. (it was really cold honestly).

Though some travels can be fought alone, this one isn't. Being with acquaintances which have turned out to be great company was the greatest realization I've ever made. Once again, do not forget to bring blankets to warm you up.

Amenities? They sell ice cream here. Only Nestle products are sold in El Nido.

The Maldives of the Philippines blossoms with the fine sand beaches which stretch enormously until you find the melancholic orange skies above you.

The irregularities remain subtly lovely and the serenity clothing the place is priceless. Unlike other beaches, this is not overrated. I mean this in a holistic way as crowds are not as intimidating in overrated ones.

Basically, the pictures tell the truth. Nothing is concealed, and the truth of how this Helicopter on land can take us to greater heights is enough vessel for travelers. If you really wish to spend the best summer, try it here.
